The World Series of Off-Road
Racing is a new name for an exciting style of race event that was
born in the Midwest and has thrilled race fans over and over and
over. The World Series builds on an established 38-year heritage but
with an eye to the future and the potential for significant growth.
WSORR sanctions classes from top rank
pros to grassroots racers. Feature classes include high performance,
high horsepower race trucks in 4x4, 2WD and compact pickup
configurations. Fans flock to World Series events to watch trucks
racing in their natural environment — off-road!
The word is out: Off-road racing is HOT. And the
World Series is the place to watch all the action! The
goal of the Series is to keep spectators entertained with the
fastest, most demanding, most punishing and most thrilling off-road
racing in the world!
All
WSORR race divisions are pushed to the limits as they tackle natural
terrain and dirt tracks. General rules of WSORR are similar to those
in other types of motorsports with an enormous emphasis on safety.

off-road event at the Bark River International Raceway in Bark
River, MI, watches an 800 horsepower PRO 2WD race truck clear a

cheers racing action at Crandon Raceway.
Off-road racing has shown remarkable
growth the past several years and a WSORR event ensures this
fan-friendly, sponsor-supported form of racing will continue its
upward trend. Midwest racing experienced record
growth in 2006! WSORR management is charged with making
short course off-road racing the most popular truck racing Series in
America. Season after season, Midwest off-road racing catapults
racers onto successful career paths. NASCAR super star Jimmie
Johnson has raced off-road in the Midwest, refining his considerable
skills against the finest closed course off-road racers in the
World. So, too, has current NASCAR and IRL driver Robbie Gordon.
Off-road racing is poised for
greatness in 2007 with a new and powerful TV package on SPEED
Channel. WSORR will be on the receiving end of increasing
multi-media coverage from all sources becoming a strong promotional
and marketing tool, providing race fans, teams, drivers, sponsors
and promoters with an off-road series delivering excitement and
thrills at every event!
