Dude Motorsports Moves On as Rally Visits Nevada

October 6, 2007 (Henderson, NV) - Thursday morning the Rally
headed towards Henderson, Nevada, as the Mayor, as well as the
Arch Bishop of Albuquerque, New Mexico gave the Fireball Rally
competitors a great send off. The first mission was to find
the large Tee Pee at the New Mexico/Arizona border, and take a
photograph while you sat in the Indian position wearing a
traditional head dress. Teams could get five bonus points if
you took the photo while wearing just your boxer shorts.
Sticker Dude Motorsports grabbed the bonus.

The next stop was Winslow, Arizona. The town made famous by
the song,
“Take
It Easy” by the rock group, The Eagles. On the corner of
Second and Kinsley, there really is a tribute to the song,
complete with a girl in a flatbed Ford. After a quick lunch,
it was back on the road, heading for the Montelago Village
Resort in Henderson, Nevada.
Friday morning saw the Sticker Dude, Luke Zoetmulder, at the
wheel of the Hankook Tires equipped 2007 Toyota Tundra TRD as
the teams hit Las Vegas Motor Speedway for another “Time
Attack”.
Once again Sticker Dude Motorsports ran very quick times,
faster than many of the sports cars. The level of competition
is so high; a Fireball Rally competitor hit a concrete wall
and totaled his Dodge Viper. Fortunately, the only thing
bruised was his ego.
Later that night all the teams were invited to a Blackjack
tournament, where you could wager all your known race points.
Please look for our next update as we find out the results of
the Blackjack tournament and the final day of the rally.
Please remember the real goal of the Fireball Rally is to
bring awareness to the missing children of America through the
Children’s Rescue Network, as
well as awareness to the team’s chosen charity
First Candle, and its member
organization, the Georgia SIDS Alliance.
